Negativity

All the negativity on this board is really dragging it down. I'm really getting sick of people being jerks to each other instead of just helping them, and people insulting each other gets nobody anywhere. Seriously everybody, lets exercise a little bit of mutual respect and common courtesy around here. It would go a long way towards improving the atmosphere around here.

What's funny is that most of the people in question are grown adults! Those that put down new members, those that put down people just 'cause they didn't like what they said, those that put down people just 'cause they don't like the same thing as they do...the ones I've seen were all adults.

No but in all seriousness, I am not sure what you guys are exactly referring to. But I have not experienced much negativity on the boards. I post my videos (personal works of art) and open myself to criticism of any kind. I have gotten nothing but positive feedback and healthy constructive criticism. No one has ever outright attacked me for the sake of attacking. The random trolls who have attacked me once or twice in the past don't count....

Not all the time P-chick, justt watch the boards... You have people that joke around and mess with people... they arn't the problem! It's the people that slam people looking for advice. It's just kinda messed up that people slam doors in rookies faces cause you've seen the thread 5 times a day. You don't have to respond to a thread just because it's there. It's even worse to talk poop to people who are trying to learn... be it about wakeboarding or anything else. Just no good practice if you ask me. A little good natured ribbing fine... But Poeple are A$$holes sometimes!!

I have not noticed too much negativity. It is probably that this time of year makes most wakeboarders sad and puts them in a bad mood! Confused

I gotta say that this board is a lot less negative that another one that I visit. I've kinda stopped going to the other one. The funny thing is that the other one is primarilly all adults of an artistic nature.
But you cant base the negativity on the "Trapt" thread. That one was just ripe and hanging there like a pinata. Nobody could help but take a swing.

Last monday in San Francisco it was 95 degrees....IN S.F.!!!! That's usually the coolest city in the area....
