im thinking about making a slider using an over-turned kayak. Do you suggest using styrofoam blocks to keep the kayak afloat, if not what should i use?

i did that with a kanao it worked decently but it flips alot and wince its wider then a normal slide you get better balance good luck an ya put foam in there itll keep it afloat

Just Use Tubes, We flip over the canoe and put a Ski Tube inside on each end. sturdy and easy.

we just flip over our kayak over and it stays there and doesn't flip over.

i might try that xcept it ll probly flip, oh well falling off of a kayak 4 inches up shouldnt be too fatal. Smile

Nah I didnt bust my ass that hard.

We tied two cinder blocks to the one side with 3 foot ropes.The one tube is a little deflated also.

here's the same canoe that ryans sliding, this time using a tube and a barrel. it worked pretty good for a while
