I wanna build it all outa steel (except the top of course which would be pvc sheets 8 inches wide)

i can weld it up nice what do ye think :

(btw the flat bar is 25 feet and the riser is 25 feet, so 50 feet of sliding )

I'd make the flat bar a bit longer than the upramp... maybe like 35/15... and it would be pretty heavy...

yeah i know its heavy i have the plans its gona be built in 3 15 foot sections only finaly welded to 50 feet at the lake side, then using docfoam u float it out, kick the foam out from one end to sink that end move the other end to line it up pull out the foam and shes on the bottom for eternity

josh how wide 6 inches? i built a 2*2incher with pvc pipe, and it was perty good it had a 3 foot gap but we took it down after my friend sliced his boared to peaces on it

ONT-rider looks nice but i hate floating sliders, they move to much when u hit em.
but u can come to my cottage anytime u want bro.

crimnaly minded if you were syaing it looks expensive for me: the goal price is under 400 which we can make easy i can get steel pretty cheap

I built a sick 40 ft long rainbow out of trex wood on top and its 2 ft high. Its rad. I used a water pump (not a fat sac pump) and put 4x4s into the sand (the water was 5ft) and so 3 ft of 4x4 into the sand and 5 ft of water left 2 ft out-didn
't have to cut the 4x4. Put on of those for every ten foot then just put 2x4s along the side on top and then 2x10s on top then the trex. Supprts were put on 3 of the 5 4x4s and its super sturdy. The slopes up to it were pretty tricky. You have to estimate when you put the post in the sand if its lined up and then you have to nail some underwater which is a pain. Once it was all done it cost 300 bucks and half of that was the trex wood-$1.50 for each foot!!! 10 foot long upramps on each side and a 40 ft flat part-thats 60 Ft. If you want some directions on how to build this, email me.

smlparksguy133, I used it at school (media/computer studies) we had it there. You can probably download it off kazaa, it's probably a huge file though if it is there. It's called 3d studio max.

03Belmont, that's all that I made... I may put a design together over the winter, but I want to see what wood I have kickin' around at the cottage so I don't have to buy much.
