Does yours have Grey or Blue foam top? Does it have the notches on the ends of the board like the 2004 model or is it completely rounded? I ask this because I just bought one from buywake and it has the grey foam top and the notches at the ends but it has the bird chained to a tree graphic underneath....Did I get the 2004 shape with the 2003 graphic?

post a pic. the 2003 catalyst has channels, but it doesn't have kick tails like the gate. besides, the gate is a 2004 model. if you bought a 2003 model, i don't see how it would have the kick tails.

llenta,

Not everything. Do you have any other questions for me.

My answer used to LF everything until I rode that deck!

I have to say I am a skate rook, but damn that Mutiny rode sweet! The HL skate's have some OK grafix though, definitely look nice on the racks.

Question is: how are they in the water???

I'm a skate rook, but I think the Gate and the Byerly were the two I've seen in person...

llenta,

Dont even waste your time on the gate. The catalyst pops sick and with the fin out slides sick, however going W2W it is just to light.

yeah, it's kinda a problem of mine. i getting pretty good at lipslides at the molment. does the mutiny pop any different than the catalyst, or is it just easier to control off the wake.

At first it didnt pop as good but once I figured it out it pops insane. When your doing your lipslides it kind of locks you in there and allows your slides to be real smooth.

Plus like I said earlier, when you case the wake it absorbs all of the shock and lands super smooth. You can also shave down the edges depending on how loose you like your board.

Yes the Perserverance Series. The ones that I rode all last week were prototypes, not the finished product.

So the final product will be even more sick that the ones I rode.
