| i'm sure most people who wakeboard around the conroe area have seen all those sliders off the 1097 bridge. i was wondering if anybody knows who owns that or if it is not private property how do you get to it? also, i have been checking the laws involving sliders, and there is not one place that i can find that will allow sliders built on the water. lake conroe will not allow it, and you can't put them on the trinity or san jacinto river, so i have been looking for somewhere else that i could set some sliders up on. |

There are some in the Dickens Bayou area that have been there for a long time.
Also you can also build a floating one, I think the cops/ game wardens have a problem if it is perminent. Look on the sliders forum a few people posted about how to get around the cops. _________________ There'll be two dates on your tombstone/ And all your friends will read 'em/ But all that's gonna matter is that little dash between 'em... |

I haven't seen 'em. Where are they? I live right off 1097. The bridge near Bentwater or the one close to 149? |

in that cove up on the north end of the lake. They are tucked pretty far back there. They are floating, and you can tow them out with your boat _________________ The consciousness of self is the greatest hindrance to the proper execution of all physical action.
