What have you girl learned, or are you working on this year?
I have finally began to perfect my h/s w2w's, and the proper cutting technique for t/s.
- Powerslides to b/s 180 out (ts and hs)
- Ollie fs 180
- Ollie BS 180, Blind
- re-entries
- a few more grabs
- and somehow when trying a backroll I stuck a hs bs 180 w2w hah
- teak start/finishes, and floaters on the wakesurfboard
I also won 3rd at INT Nationals, and the best 2 crashes of the week at camp. Not to bad of a season considering I didn't have a boat for 2 1/2 months and its over now. No 360, ts and hs w2w 180's, or invert, but mabye next year. _________________ Sliding Glass...It's what we do.

That's more of my wish list than what I'm working on!! Only been boarding 2 seasons. Had to take 2 months off this season for 10 stitches in my hand. Had to try and play catch - up when I got back into the water. Trying to perfect my w2w, and working on my grabs. Worked on a few surface tricks...nothing major. Hopefully next year will be injury free and will have more time to work on things. |

The only goal I had for this year was to get w2w. I was hella happy when I got it but only got it the once. Haven't really thought about next year since it feels so far away but I guess at first that'll be my main goal is to getting w2w consistantly. _________________ Cause we are strictly business and we also got our pride

Finally riding switch with out face planting! Getting better each time. Need to make more goals snice I'm still riding. _________________ Who is that masked.....

Last time I was out on the water, I landed my first tail grab. I have perfected riding switch. I force myself to get up switch everyime now just so I get comfortable. I didn't even touch the sliders this year but now I am working on doing 180's over one side of the wake (now that I got switch down).
This is the first year that wakeboarding has made sense to me. Before, i thought it was all about getting over the wake and going big. Now I understand the importance of learning in baby steps. That is how you progress into bigger tricks. I am more about working on being fluid, developing my own style and being 100% comfortable on my board. And havig a good time, but that is already a given-in buttah or crappy water. |

My goal right now is to get my knee rehabbed and stay in shape for next spring.
P-chick has the right idea, it's all about baby steps and moving up that ladder one rung at a time. Good technique on the basics will help you more than anything else and help you go farther in the long run...and keep you healthy! She's also totally right about having fun
I can tell you that when I go for my first ride next spring (haven't ridden since blowing out my ACL in July) the look of pure joy on my face will be priceless. I'm excited to get back out on the water and take it slow, spend time on my technique, surface tricks and riding switch before I even get one bit of air between my board and the water...though that first W2W post-surgery will feel so good! |

| I ride with this stupid perma-grin whenever I am out on the water. I guess it is because I love riding so much. I have swallowed many bugs because of it.....just adds to the fun factor! |

this year i got my 180's solid w2w on the ts with a grab or 2, and made my hs jumps bigger and added some grabs over there. still working on the 3's, the roll and the tantrum, they're so close i can taste 'em. something to look forward to next year. _________________ If it didn't hurt it wasn't worth tryin |
