That's so amazingly stupid... The kids are solely at fault in this matter. How can you say their actions were the result of playing one specific video game? How many other video games have you shooting at cars or people? The kids are just idiots and didn't think about the possible consequences of their actions.

These kids sound like they would be old enough to know better. I know the media is powerful and effects people in many ways, but this is ridiculous....putting the blame on a video game in no way justifies inflicting harm on someone else.

while they're at it...why not sue the maker of the game box that plays such violent games...and if we go that far, why not sue the car manufacturer that built the car that allows people to transport such hideous games from store to home...and if they walked...sue the whole damn city...its those damn residents that allowed those sidewalks to be built in the first place..

Thats so Bubb Rubbing stupid. Everyone knows know in the courts you can get easy money by sueing. THey always win. Just like that McDonalds coffee thing. Everyone is sue happy and everything you do could come against you. Its all bull stuff!

Sentence the kids as adults. The parents are responsible for the games that are in their own house. They have to grow up. Hopefully the court system won't give way to this.

Who let these kids buy the game in the first place ( most likely parents)
Where did they get the money for it ( most likely parents)
Who owns the TV they sat in front of for hours playn the game ( most likely parents)
Who supervised these kids while they played the game ( most likely parents)

I could be wrong but a lot of things point to the parents here.

It's funny how people like to spit them out (kids) but once the little feet hit the street they don't want to be responsible for their actions in any way....

when was the last time you saw little Johnny get a back hand up side the head for cryn' about some stupid candy he needed to have at the check out line and the mother just says no over and over.

I remember back in the day it took ( the look) once you got that you knew the next thing was a whack in the head and it didn't matter if you were in church! can we say discipline people!
