|
|
Hi all, I have been riding in friends' bindings for 2 months and I am starting to get some air and I feel that I need some good bindings for the impact I take from jumping wakes. Any suggestion? How about the 2004 Hyperlite Vargus? are they any good?
Any recommended bindings for ladies?? |

My friend Jade wears the NICE Prs1's and I wear them as well. They are an excellent binding! The footbed is very comfy, they are built to last, and the cost isn't too bad either. They have some removeable rods for the heel if you need an extra stiff backing for weak ankles. Check them out at Nicebindings.com or if you happen to come to the Austin Area go see Aaron or Damon at Ski Dock and they will treat you right and let you check em out. _________________ "What do you mean you're done for the night...Insomnia doesn't even open until 4. | I have Parks bindings and I love them! They are super comfy and they have nice thick padded footbeds for landings. They are a little on the expensive side, but if you look on Ebay you might beable to find some for a decent price... |

I have the Nice Scarecrows, they are comfy too and reasonably priced. I find laceups easier to get on in the water if you get ejected vs non laced. Try to demo if you can and remember that they take a few rides to get adjusted. _________________ This time, like all times, is a very good one if we but know what to do with it. - Ralph Waldo Emerson |

Thanks gals really appreciate that, I think I am gonna check out the Parks or Nice for sure since I'd seen a lot of people recommend it. I have flat feet so I am having "arch bruise" after every ride, it really hurts when you put on a pair of Birkenstock after riding, I guess the arched footbed will help out a bit |

if you get a chance, lookin into the new high-end Liquid force bindings. I didn't get a chance to try them out, but they're supposed to be super nice, and I'm sure they have more cushio than the exos that i'm riding _________________ SlidingGlass.com

go with some LF exos, i have them and i absolutely love em. they mold to ur foot. u can find em for a good deal on ebay. usually ur local shop will meet a price you find on the net (not ebay). i have no complaints on em. took a bit of time to get em broken in. easy entry even in the water. but if i didnt have them i wud buy belmonts, but ive been hearing that hyper watever tear a bunch and then u gots to buy new overlays....check out lf, if u wait till the 2004s come out, i garuntee you will love them. sick new style. _________________ hit it!

Do all the bindings said above have nice arched footbed? Like Nice, Parks, Belmonts, Liquid Force...etc. I have tiny feet (size 5), I'd tried Belmonts SM and my feet slipped out of the bindings. I have been reading the description from the manufacturer and all they said is "comfy footbed" it doesn't say if it's arched or not......
Any good bindings for small feet with nice arched footbed? Sorry for being so picky! |

| HL 04 Highbacks have arch supports built in. You may want to try the Era Binding as well. |

The NICE have an arched footbed and it is textured so that your foot doesn't fall forward. They ae by far the best bindings I have ridden. I just recently switched from the Exo's to the PRS1's and it was well worth it. _________________ "What do you mean you're done for the night...Insomnia doesn't even open until 4. | Got 2002 Nice Scarecrows....I love them. You also may want research into the companies customer service. I'm the type of person if I spend $$ on something, I expect quality. Have to say - I've had excellent customer service from Nice. Had an issue - just emailed them - problem solved w/o any hassles. |

| As Brad said, NICE totally rocks! I love mine. The material is so soft, it's like sliding your foot in a tub of butter. There's great arch support and lots of cushioning in the front, my feet never slide out after landing a jump. I got lots of comments on them. I have the Nice Truth bindings, they are female-specific. They are designed like snowboard boots with the clips and lace up system. But, any Nice bindings will do you well. |

With that small of a foot any HL bindings you get should be XS. I tried Shaun's board and bindings and he had smalls, I wear a mens 6/women's 7 1/2 and they were a little to big. Whatere you do make sure they arn't to big!!! I blew a huge part of my season by riding a M pair of Ultras and my foot came halfway out in the air tearing a bunch of tendons. I have heard the CWB Zeus's rock, im dying for a pair. I don't know if they have arch support though. LF's new bindings seem pretty comfy and cool looking. The temets are sweet too. _________________ Sliding Glass...It's what we do.
