I got a brand new pair of Collective Development AS01s this week. I rode them for the first time on Friday and they're awesome. Super comfy and supportive.
My problem is with the base plate. If the screw comes a little loose on them, the bindings slip because the plate is just one big slot; no separated holes. They slipped on me and when I came down from a double up my back binding came all the way off the board and I lost the all the hardware for it. Is there any way to keep this from hapening?
I had a pair of concrete with the same base plates. I usually just tightened them down a ton before each time I rode. I tried a few different glues, but nothing seemed to help much. I was considering taking them to a machine shop and having them put a small spot face where the bolt would sit. Good luck!
