I don't think buttacup is jealous at all - I totally agree with her! If she wanted the attention she could run out and put on a thong and boarshorts also, but instead, she has CLASS.

It's different if you're out on the boat, but when i'm in line at walmart and i see some skank with her butt floss hanging out the back of her shorts, it's trashy, and nothing else.

I just rock the shorts because they are 1) I don't wear a bikini w/out 'em (i have issues Rolling Eyes

) 2) they are more comfy for riding especially when I fall and 3) I'm there to just ride and enjoy the water and people I'm around.

Personally, I think JRock*Girl knows what's up. I think girls look great in a bikini and some long boardshorts that hang off the hips. Sporting a thong under the boardshorts is an added bonus, but from what I've seen it usually means the chick can't ride well. Although I've heard there are some exceptions to that.....

OK, bottom line, so long as you are happy with what you are wearing and doing, and it's not illegal or immoral, that's what's important. I wear all different types of clothing. I suck at wakeboarding no matter what I wear. I don't care. I still go out as much as possible, try stuff I'll never probably be able to actually land and have a ton of fun. Same thing with skateboarding. I stink at that too, but I wear comfortable clothes (for me) and I get tore up sometimes. So long as your having fun, and feel good about yourself afterwards, no worries.

Here's a great story. I dated this really hot chic for like 3 months... until she told me this story. I laughed so hard so broke up with me. She was jsut learning how to board and I guess she though that board shorts looked dumb so she was riding in here bikini. When she fell she fell backward and landed on here bum. Well... story goes when she hit the water her suit slid to the side and she got a huge ennama. when she got back on the boat she tried to make it to shore but ended up having to shizzle in a doritos bag, so she wouldn't shizzle on the boat. The kicker is that her boyfriends entire family was on the boat too... Laughing

Right on Darin and Andrew. There's nothing (well, almost nothing) that I like more than seeing a chick with a nice booty in tight jeans or boardshorts or whatever with a little thong sticking out the top. BUT, in the right environment. Walmart, no. The mall, no. Disneyland, hell no. Rock concert, yes. My boat, hell yes. Just a few examples.

Wearing boardshort on the outside of the wetsuit is the Vogue thing to do over here, but then again I've seen a few of the boys from the Pointless crew NOT wear the shorts over the suit.
