| hey man i have a pair of ultras, and a pair of highbacks. I like the ultras more because they are more comfy, and lighter, but the highbacks are the mac. when it comes to ankle support, so if you got bad ankles the highback would be the way to go. You probly need a size med. but you can go to www.hyperlite.com, and they have a sizing chart, so does liquid force. Hope that helps. later |

| Go with the Ultras deffintly. In my opinon, they are the most comfortable binding, and you have an excellent feel of the board with them. |

Go with the Ultras, I had a pair and loved em... LF made some great improvements on em from 01 to 02... cushier footbed and better tongue inserts..(older ones were tearing). if you can, demo both... _________________ Couldn't think of a witty commment... so... um.... yea |

| If you have really weak ankle's I wouldn't go with Ultras... I had them and they didn't give me good support. I liked them, but the highbacks really lock you in and give great support. |

| I'm a big fan of the Ultras and I would recommend those unless you have waek ankle... the highbacks are stiffer and holds a bit higher because of the velcro so that's what I would recommand for you... |

I'd go with the ultras. I mean, come on, Hyperlite STILL can't figure out that the nasty black rubber stuff (that wears much quicker, by the way) that they use on the inside of the bindings is a thing of the past.....

dude! i'd so go for the ultras. they're way lighter than the highbacks and they're just as comfy. _________________ "stupidity will kill you!"

if you're worried bout the ankle support of the ultras, look at the exo's, the ankle is much tighter in em _________________ Couldn't think of a witty commment... so... um.... yea |
