Whats going on, I'm thinking about either getting a hyperlite parks 138 biolite ot a 134 liqiud force DLX. I weight about 160 and I'm no pro, i just started this last summer. I would appreciate any advice you have on selecting a board and a size that would benifit me the most. And one more thing, is it just me or is Dallas Friday freakin hot??? just wondering, thanks....

Those boards are not similar at all. The DLX is a good design but its definitely not right for everyone, its a hybrid board with some interesting specs and you should only get it if it suits what you are looking for in a board. I would spend some time researching boards and different board characteristics and THEN decide which ones fit your profile.

There are about 250 posts on this site of people not recommending the Parks to beginner/intermediate riders, I would take their word for it. I personally think they should make two different levels of the Parks since everyone under the sun wants one. Its very agressive and has a 'bucking' feel from the big rocker and from strong channels that lock the board in, it will more than likely send you on your ass and it will be a lot harder to get consistent with wake jumps and overall feel.

Or a Gator Signature or the Gator pro, either of these boards are right up alley
