329 is a pretty good price if it is brand new. You may get lucky and find it cheaper on ebay but that is a pretty good price. _________________ Once youre born you start dying so why not have a little fun. |

I got my '02 Subjekt 137 in October for $225 at Sun & Ski Sports fall clearance sale so there are definitely better deals to be had. I think the MSRP was like $479 or something? I was, however, quite shocked at the price. I think it was an exceptional deal.
As for how it rides:
I have only ridden an '00 HL Byerly, '00 HL Byerly finless, an '01 HL Belmont, an '02 CWB Rob Struharik Pro, and an '02 HL Drifter. I like the Subjekt much better than all of these. For me anyway, it has great pop, it releases well, it's fast, and the cupped fins give amazing hold for their size.
One of the most common comments I've had when I've let friends try it is, "Wow, it's really responsive." I that comes from the way it is loose when you want that (transitions, surface tricks) but tracks very well on edge. It might be due to the cupped fins. I don't know.
Anyway, I think it's a awesome board. I can't really imagine a better board (for me)...unless it weighted 2 lbs. or something. |

I have seen a bunch of subjekts on eBay for around 230-260 that are brand new wrapped in plastic. Another one that always seems to have good deals is Mike D i c k. www.seedickride.com is his web site, ask him and see what he can do. I;m very interested to see how one rides, I'm going to demo one this weekend. I'll let you know if you haven't already bought it by then. _________________ "What do you mean you're done for the night...Insomnia doesn't even open until 4.
