| A 3-stage rocker is a board that has a flat spot in the curve of the board and in a continous rocker the curve goes all they way throguh the board.A 3-stage rocker has a more abrupt and kickier pop and a continous rocker has a more mellow pop. |

| I believe that some newer 3 stage rockers don't have the flat spot, but rather less of a curve, and are kinda middle ground between the 3 stage and continous rockers. |

Darin, 3 stage means there IS a flat spot. some 3 stage boards have a spine running down the center of the board, but it is still a 3 stage board.
there is a TON of information on this subject already, so if anyone is curious you can use the search feature and find everything you ever wanted to know about a 3 stage and continuous rocker. _________________ www.TheLiquidPlayground.com

ok continuous... the rocker is round all the way through...
3stage, think about the rocker line stepping down 3 steps then a flat spot then it goes up 3 steps.... _________________ wakeboards

Um, this is from: http://www.bestwakeboard.com/wakeboard-hyperlite.html
Features
2.6"/2.7" Subtle 3 - Stage Rocker - a combination of the smooth continuous rocker and the bucking explosion of a 3-stage rocker. [Rocker variance reflects 135cm/140cm]
I think this is what I was talking about...... |
