|

Well when i go into casper i sorta flick it over i dont ollie into. I know ollies into them look really koo lbut i cant do them, any one have any tips? And to get out of them ive been doing a semi hard flip thing out of them i landed a few of them but wasnt happy. Ive also tried (i think its an impossible) i just jump up and flick the board really hard and goes around my foot and if i do it enuf i can land them really sketchy though. Can some one give me sum ways to get out of them, that are umm easier. _________________

I can casper, but I usually just tip the board over like they did in the 80's. I can half flip into it but no sliding like Rodney, I'm still working on that.
Thing is, with the advent of the modern kickflip it's become more difficult to bust the half flip to casper. When Rodney invented kickflips people kicked their whole leg out & down rather than just flicking their ankles. If you watch him do it, you'll see that he does the old style kickflip into casper. Same thing when he does kickflip underflips, kick back & down. Just something you're gonna hafta practice. |

Yeah i can do the thing where you tip the board over, but like you i cant slide and if i do its only a metre or so. So i guess i should just sit there trying to flip into casper or something. _________________

Yeah I can but I stop moving. After that I'll do a C-flip or a rail stand. It looks cool and I get props from the old schoolers. But yesterday I was on my friends mini ramp and I poped out and ended in a casper fliped it back over and dropped in. I tried it today, hung up and dmn near broke my ass. I got it on vid so it's all good. _________________ -Nunc est bibendum! |

Yep you got it and yess it is sooo easy.. Just imagin doing a imposible with your front foot but instead let your foot come off the bord in a kind of shifty 360 flip. then when the board starts to come black side up just mash down. Do a coupple tick tacks to get the momentum up agin and get going just dont let your foot touch the ground. _________________ -Nunc est bibendum! |

no it just kinda does a 360 flip but a little out to the side, A little off axis. Not fully to the side. It's really easy I'm not kidding. once you try it you'll see. Keep in mind that I'm talkin about a c-flip in where you end up back on the grip tape. not on the other end of the board. Were talking oldschool casper flip out _________________ -Nunc est bibendum! |

| Holy cow, casper flips are NOT that hard, you guys are trying to turn it into rocket science. You don't even hafta be able to get into casper position to be able to flip out. Set the board in casper position & give it a gentle flick, it'll probably come right back around. |

| Waker, you shouldn't talk before thinking. Have you seen me skate & do casper flips? If you have then I don't know about it. I DO give it the half varial kickflip. Your "half-impossible-off-axis-360-flip" deal makes it sound like a difficult trick when it really should only take maybe a day of committed practice to learn. |

casper slides, 360 caspers, and 720 casper flips are fun so you should definately try to learn casper stuff. _________________ i cant think of a smartass comment right now, so i'll get back to you... after the beep BOOP |

| 720 flip? Nobody's done that, not even Rodney. You'd need to do it off a big ledge & even then good luck controlling it. Everybody sez Rodney did a 720 double flip in Questionable, but it's a 540 double flip. Learn to count. |
