Man I'd love to! My hubby's actually been down there in Austin all this week for training for work and has been telling me how cool it is down there. I'm in a wedding that weekend before so don't know if I'll be able to swing it. Very tempting as the season's going in the toilet here fast...gettin chilly. Thanks for the offer...I'll hit you up if it turns out I can go.

Haha, yeah, he's got it right, Austin is da place to be, especially if you like to wakeboard. Lots of riders around here, and lake Austin is probably one of the prettiest places to ride, trees and hills everywhere, lil chilly, but it's all good Smile Lemme know if you come down!

That's Lake Freeman. It's up by Monticello. I think it's the twin lake to Shafer. Yeah definitely post pics from that. And yeah season's winding down here Puppy Eyes I went yesterday and the initial shock of the water was no fun but was alright after a few minutes in it. Prolly only a few weeks without a wet/dry suit. Did ya get rid of that flu?

It's a late 90's Mastercraft with a fat seat. I wanna say like a 98 or maybe 96.

Yeah Brown County is very cool in fall. I'm sure I'll end up down that way at some point. I'll snap some pics for ya if I do. Funny those little things you miss when you move far away from somewhere. Prior to 7th grade I lived in Louisiana...I get all nostalgic when I see swampy areas or cotton fields.

Yah...an infection! Glad to hear you're feeling better though.

wakejunkeygirl, Glad to hear that they found out what was wrong and that you are feeling better.

indywakechica, I'm from Indiana originally, too bad wakeboarding wasn't around back when I lived there (I left in 86). Stay warm. Great photos!! Thanks for sharing. Colorful

Subjecktive normally when we're up there we ride with a friend of ours on his boat. I'm sure he wouldn't mind hooking ya up. If we have our boat up there...give ya a pull anytime.

KL_Wakeboarder we actually live in a suburb of Indy so we never really get up that far north. Lake Freeman or Salamonie are the farthest that direction we've been to this summer. We only have a 94 Rinker right now so not that great for wakeboarding but it does the job.

i'm sure we've seen you out there. yes, our boat is black and we use the bullhorn/megaphone to cheer the riders on and/or call them out when they aren't pulling hard enough. as for the helmet... it's always a smart idea... next season, you'll see us all out there with helmets on bc we'll have our slider finished finally. 'til next season~
