wakeboarding like snowboarding???

we are riders who spend our time skating. next time some guy says that wakeskating is lame and you can't do spins and mobes. just remind this person that wakeskating is not trying to be like that crazy mess of lame trick names and all that goes along with wakeboarding. wakeskating is a sister to skating where as wakeboarding is a sister to, well you be the judge...

No, a lot of wakeboard trick names are really lame and stupid. Skeezer, Hassellhof and Slurpy... Come on.

Josh R, dont agree with you really....Hasselhoff and skeezer were invented switch before they were invented regular by TH and SCB respectively, and for the moment I cant really remember the reasons for the names but im sure they are there...as for the slurpee, that wasn't the original name for the trick, Zane first called it the c@ck and balls...which in itself isnt that cool, but the trick does sort of look I'm an idiot and ballsish. If you know what I mean.

And take snowboarding...McTwist? Want any cheese with that?
Rodeo? How about some steer wrestling?
BMX? Flare???
Skating? Sex change? No different to the I'm an idiot and balls.

I dont really think the names are any lamer than for any other "extreme" sport.

Yeah, I sure as hell respect the tricks, but I still think the names are stupid. Funny, but stupid.

BUT, they have every right to call it what they want if they stomp it.

Snowboarding is to winter, as Wakeboarding/Wakeskating/Skateboarding is too _________! (thats right, summer)

Its the difference between sidewayz riders and panzy riders (i.e. Skiing and fruitbooters)

I had 4 dingos tear a hole in the side of my tent and steal some corn chips, but there were no snowboards, wakeboards or hookers!

I'd rather compare wakeboarding to snowboarding, than compare wakeskating to skating. I had a pair of skates once when I was 5 or 6 years old, can't see anything in common, I didn't think that they were cool any more.
