I like to fill my boat in the water , from five gallon cans . Back is going bad, metal cans to heavy .What plastic cans are out there with handles with good high flow nozzles, not those cheesy no spill lo flow nozzles where you cant rest the can on the nozzle because it will break. Any input is appreciated. Dave F.

Don't tip them to fill them. Just get a 5 foot hose or so, and set the gas can higher than the tank, on the dock or something. Then, you insert the hose into the gas tank, and your gas tank that you brought form the gas station, and you put your hands over the opening of the gas can and blow, and it will start siphoning.
peace
Derrick

Real pros do what derrick said. Blow, don't suck. Your friends will think you are a magician.

even better magician submerge the majority if the hose in the liquid, put their thumb over the other end to hold the liquid in the hose, and put the end that you are covering with your thumb in the tank. Then let it go and you have created a syphon.
blowing and sucking is for girls.

if the can is full it shoudlnt be hard. you just have to get enough hose in so that when you pull it out the fluid level in the hose is lower than the fluid level in the can.

arialdrop- no offense man but if your back hurts to pick up cans of gas you might shouldnt be wakeboarding. make the other people that ride on your boat fill it up.

My hose is kind of stiff (no jokes please) so I do not know if I can get it in the "can." I'll try tomorrow. I expect i will get gas all over me.

I use a hose that has a little valve on it.All you do is pull it up and down and then the gas starts coming out.I have only seen it at one store.

www.overtons.com has a lot of boating accessories and stuff like that. I am sure you could find something on their site or you can even order a catalogue from them. Good luck.
