I just bought a 1999 Larson LXI 186 runabout, I was wondering if anyone has installed a tower to a larson before, and if it had any draw backs as far as reinforcements, bimi still work, or anything else. Also, what kind of tower should I go with, economicaly speaking....Any other pointers or advice is appreciated. Thanks, Chris

It's always a good idea to consult with your dealer and/or boat manufacturer about adding a tower. If nothing else, make sure you are not voiding a warranty. Also they might have some suggestions that have worked well with other similar boats or something to avoid.

cameron_05 - I like the look of your tower. How well do those board racks work? How many boards do they hold? They look like decent, but it's hard to tell how securely they hold they boards.
