OKAY this is the kid who is actually in the picture....IT IS REAL...i have been skating for 10 years....on a REAL skateboard......unlike a bunch of fake claiming wakeskaters and wakeboarders....and for me i take what i can do on a skateboard and take it to the water.....you guys are the reason for so much ridiculousness in the sport.....come on....stop trying to one up another and just accept the fact that a real skateboarder can out wakeskate you......that is all...and no i never want to be sponsored and exploited and sell some kid his wakeskate....

hmmm if i remeber correctly you need some speed even to do a dark slide on a skateboard ive tried em and i get pretty stuck even going fast and hes hunched and 10mph on a wakeskate with that grip tape i doubt its gonna move well enough to slide that whole slider.....and land

once again if you have riden a 4-trac it is not like a flat deck...it has mellow concave...and there is no grip where the board touches the rail....10 mph...with a handle pulling you makes darslides really easy...compared to skateboarding

extremenessness, I am sure you can out skate me on a bad day. I HAVE MADE NO CLAIMS so I can say there is no way in hell I can ollie @ 10 mph so you must be really good. I know alot of guy who have skated a long time and I have NEVER seen in person a darklide at any Portland metro skate park including Burnside so I doubt you can even do it on a skateboard let alone a MUCH bigger wakeskate.

If you are so underground then don't exploit yourself and all your made skills

remember.....it is not me in the pic..it is tim....he didnt' want me to post the pic...but i figured that you guys would appreciate it...and not slam in.....also..once again...he did not ollie on the rail....front board up the incline....there is no way you can ollie at 10 mph....i am with you on that....tim...is actually a really good skater (skateboarding)....he is just one of those guys who hates it when people exploit people in pics and advertisements...i talked him into this and now he is pissed cause everyone is raggin on the pic

I am a real skateboarder and know how f'n hard it is to darkslide. If it's real get it on video........ like I said people have tried to pass off bs before. There is alot to question about your picture and claims. get it on video and shut everyone up.

why would you post your picture if you dont wanna be known in the industry? i know for SURE that people at hyperlite, obrien and mutiny read these message boards and im POSITIVE that many many many many many others lurk.

ironically one of the BEST ways to be known is to post it on message boards such as this one.

oh no my friend.....read some of my other posts and see how i view the sport....maybe you will catch on....and yes...there is a moral to all of this....look how worked up all of you got about a picture....in almost everyway was legit...and all of you just destroyed the fact that it might be real...there was no way to tell that it was fake....when you should have been saying...hey this is crazy how did you do it....all of you quickly jumped to say FAKE FAKE FAKE...some even admitted to posing pictures before...which actually makes me sick to my stomach....becuase there was no meaning behind it...we went out to shoot that full knowing where the picture was going...and for what reason we had....to show...that for a handful of wakeskaters....it is not about the ride...it seems more like it is for the one-up manship that is going around....center-of-attention boarding needs to change and i am going to be the one who instigates it...with little lessons like this....i am not playing th eliteist card....i am just saying look what happened here...and instead of freaking out about it.....think about the sport...and what something like this would do for the sport....and if one more person tells me to wear a vest.....it is an individual sport.....it you don't want to ride with vest fine...you want to ride at 10 mph fine....pose pictures NOT FINE....
maybe that made sense....i am not going to spell it out.

I think the point of this picture is to show how dangerous wakeskating can be without the use of proper life-saving devices. Imagine what his shins would look like if he had taken a board to the shin, or much worse, the rail to the shin. We all need to be responsible for our own actions, so please please be safe and wear shin guards. But not a cup, wiping the seed of stupid people from this overpopulated planet is ok.

What made me laugh was that everyone was calling him out on getting to that position. Darkslides are more than possible, that pic could be real, but when I saw the pic, i thought it was bs because i think its really hard to pressure flip out of a rail that small. Possible? absolutely. Just dont think anyone is ready for that yet!

People on here might be lame, i.e. photoshopping pics, wearing shin guards, using handles, supporting the triple digits, but lets not forget the people who claim to be the window of our sport. last blast? nope, last time i'll read that publication!
