Older Boat Models

I've read many posts lately about new boats and was wondering about some older models. I'm wondering if some of the new designs still have the same hull shapes and sizes as older inboards. I dont know much about the different boats but would be interested in hearing about older models that could be modified to function like the newer X-stars, Air Nautiques, etc.

Correct Craft 2001 hull, years 1983 to 1986 I believe.
These are some of the best hull shapes for the older boats, weighted correctly they will through a wake as big or close to most boats on the market today...

?96?- up Mastercraft prostar 205 = same hull as x-star (d-d instead of v-d) (there is also a prostar 205v)
?94?-up Sport, and Super Sport Nautique = Air, and Super Air Nautique
?86?-2000 supra sunsport = Supra Launch (2000)
Other sweet older wakeboarding hulls:
Nautique Excel, Barefoot Nautique, Malibu sunsetter, Malibu echelon
Somebody correct me if I am wrong...

The Ski Nautique 2001 hull was from 1982-1989.

the supra sunsport hull isn't the 2000 launch until 89, I could be wrong but I think the MC hull starts at 97, and I know the sport/super sport hull starts at 95. I'm pretty sure I'm right on these, but I could be wrong.

i think the nautique sport hull started in 89 or maybe earlier 90's, look for the nauti bowrider as old as you can find, have a friend that has and weighted that boat has sick wake....also is a few feet longer than old ski nautiques and may be wider too....better for more weight ....I can tell you from personal experience that the MC hulls did not get good untill 97...that is the 205 hull......my parents own a 90 and the wake sucks so bad i had to move out of the house !
