Are you blind? There's a shuv-it in there. The problem was that we were only riding it for a quick session and this is only the first video.

would that work in a small lake? or a pool or something?

It works in small lakes and canals, and i've been wanting to try it in a pool. the only problem is that the smaller/shorter the body of water is, the shorter the pull is.

Man I can't believe all the hype this "wrench" has boiled up.
The winch is STOOOPID like LOOOPID! for a couple hundred more bucks you could buy a sucky little boat and go wakeskating for like more than 100 feet at a time.
I keep reading how the winch is supposed to revolutionize wakeskating and it is so innovative - man if this is where it's heading I don't want to see what is next!

Just stop and think about it for a couple minutes and you'll realize it is a total waste of time, energy and money for a 4 second slow ride with no wake - and what's with the video? they are getting pulled off a boat?! C'MON MAN!

It SUX y'all - it's a straight up red-neck swamp-bog gimmick.

all i know is i allready have about 10 place where i can't get a boat with some nice drops off little damns that range from 2 to 6 feet out of the water planned for the whinch.

you all just need to look outside the box, yea i would much rather ride behind a boat anyday but there are things that you can do with the winch that you jsut couldent do with a boat.

like what? ......as soon as youve started youve finished....! It's just the same as the cable but not as good in any way, and you are restricted to go for a tiny amount of time and then what do you do with the rope when you have finished ? walk with the handle 200 feet back to the beginning again? you may say use a longer rope, but that just means walking or swimming for longer once youve finished. The reason there was a boat in the video is because they were using that to reset the rope. It is a good idea dont get me wrong but it is totally impractical!

Yeah Nathan its really gay. I mean its not gonna push the sport at all. And it wont open the doors to riding anywhere. And it wont make wakeskating affordable for someone who cant afford a boat or doesnt live near a cable....
