| Where in Michigan do you guys live at? At the lakes i'm on, the cops go ape if you leave a slider in. Plus, if someone hits it and gets hurt, you got one huge lawsuit on your hands. |

Yeah I would definitely find out first. I dont know about the States but in Canada (or Ontario at least) I have heard that you cant even leave a water trampoline in by your dock, unless it has the proper lights on it. It has me baffled but I guess it makes sense. _________________ -Randy

| as long as you bring it up to your dock it will be ok. I have talked to the FWC many times about this. If the thing is movable you do not need to have a permit for it. Ex: Rave trampoline. But there is also another florida laws that states that it is illegal to hit anything ...... dock, slider, boey while being towed behind any type of watercraft. So when the FWC comes by tell him that it is a fishing peir and that you tow it in to your dock when you are finished with it. If that does not work tell tham that you are a pro rider and you have to hit these things for a living. It also helps to tell them that you have been professionally trained to hit them. I have gathered this info over the years. Let me know if you have any other questions. |

Up here in New England the safest bet is just to pull it in when you're done with it. We had some problems with some neighbors of ours warning that they would report it. I think this is a major concern for people with fixed/stationary sliders. I'd hate to see people getting sued...and there was a good chance of that happening on my lake.
