How cool was it to see all the newest boats and accessories in one spot !
it was really neat for me because I just started selling MB sports boats for MarineMax. Actually, the first customer I ever talked to was at the boat show as I spent two weeks in the hospital after a dirtbike accident while i should have been learning to do my job ! It was soooo fun to talk to all the different people and get everyone's opinion on all the boats. I like most all the new wakeboard boats and they all have their nich in the market. The b-52's are handbuilt, one at a time, and it shows in the attention to detail. The ballast system is the biggest in the Industry. The Mastercrafts are premium high volume boats and some of their features are revolutionary. Nautiques, well, they are as nice as ever and I am sure the wakes are sick. WHAT IS UP WITH THE NEW NAMES? no more super?...I think I still am going to call it a super !....One thing I realized is that the customer is the winner...............seating arrangement, wake size or shape, colors, graphics, there really is something for everyone now !!
What do you think....how do you like mc's board racks....LATER, mark j. _________________ MarineMax and MB Sports

the guys at natiques realized that they made a mistake gettin rid of the super air name. they will be bringing back the super air name according to several of the reps that i talked to.
i dont personally like the new mc racks. i can totally see someone putting their board in and slam the rack closed too hard so that it crushes the tips of the board. i like the nvert racks better. |

| I want to know how everyone thought about the layout of the show in general??? Did you find it a nice show or did you find in tooo big and hard to get around? I heard alot of mixed reaction about the show in general. There was tons of cool boats there, I thought. |

I thought the layout was terrible. I was pretty disappointed overall in the show. It was nice to see all the industry people and talk to old friends but other than that it was lame. I mean you walk by the HL booth and 30min later you get to the LF booth. Lame.
Kyle, Where were you at the show. I looked at the Boss booth but didn't notice anyone named Kyle. Wanted to say hi and introduce. |

I liked the boat setup, having all the wake boats(except calabria) in one area was nice. I did'nt like the accesories setup to much though, on the weekends you could'nt get around to easily let alone actually see anything, it was alot easier to deal with on the weekdays. the best part was it was 5 minutes from house _________________ http://www.integrity-wake.com

| On the name change; The new Nautique ad in one of the new magazines already says Super Air Nautique 210.........so they are already starting to change it back. |

I still don't know how I liked it. It was set up poorly. I felt like a rat looking for the piece of cheese at the end of the maze. All of the proshop products should have been in the hall right before the boat tent, instead of all the way up front near the RVs. I thought at first that I would like the new show, but now I like the old Cow Palace show better.
-the one thing I did like was the way they had all of the wakeboats grouped together this year instead of spread out all over the place like they do at the palace... |

| Sadly, I missed all the big extravagent boats too. They were fun to gawk at. It was nice to see a bigger variety of boat accessories (Speakers, racks, etc). Seemed kind of slow though, not a whole lot of people there on a saturday. |

| Yeah, it was a slow show for the accessories end of it. The boats did very well though, much to our suprise. This economy situation right now was a scary feeling going into it! |

i think the layout of the show could have been changed. but i think that it was cool that it was so long cuz you had a chance to look at each individual booth rather than walk in a huge room and have to look for things. it was more walking than i have done in a long time though. hah and i saw wakeboard tv film for the second time (i was at the delta shoot as well). lets say that it was intersting to see them again.
from the people that i have talked to there will be many changes but its gonna likely stay at the pleasanton location cuz of issues with the cow palace. _________________ www.TheLiquidPlayground.com
