It's AMAZING. Bruce always had such a good way of telling a story & keeping it interesting. I can see Dana has the same gift. Even though the waves weren't good it was cool to see the Great Lakes surfing & the stuff in Texas behind supertankers. Anybody can live by the beach & surf, THOSE guys are committed.
That Cortes footage was UN-believable, how long did we hafta wait to see it, 2 years? Worth the wait I say.

Definitely a must-see for anyone who loves surfing, but also for those who might not know much about it. I've seen footage from Cortes Bank before, but never on a theater-sized screen. As Jester said, unbelievable.
However, I was a little bit disappointed by the footage from Teahupoo, it didn't do justice to how big and nasty it can actually be. I posted some photos of Teahupoo on some super-heavy days. (see below)

| The reason Teahupoo wasn't shown at its full potential is 'cuz women were surfing it. No sexism intended here, it's fact of the matter, women can't surf Teahupoo when it gets really gnarly. It's the one stop on the tour where both the men's & women's CT have an event & if it gets over 8 feet they call off the women's contest. The men's isn't considered good until it's double overhead +.
