You know what is even dumber? Just imagine if some completely unfunny show (Such as the Late Show with David Letterman) got a hold of this link, and ran it on the show. Then they developed it into a bit each week where they would take the piss out of it/show where the bidding is up to.

I bet within a week it would be up to $1000.00

My brother sells stuff on ebay to make extra money it only costs ten cents to put an item up there so i sold lint and people bought it and i made like 50 cents after shipping and all the work of stuffing it into the envelope wasn't worth that....
