Hey we might be trading our boat in for a larson boat with an outboard because our lake is pretty shallow.. we are getting a tower on it. Can you add some sacs to an outboard to get a pretty good wake?

i have an outboard (without tower) and we usually have one sac in the back and about 5-10 people on board, the wake isnt amazing but i can get about 6-7 foot of air behind it... some outboards have really foamy wakes though... it is possible to adjust the trim and distribute the weight differently to effect the size and shape of it though, just try it see how it goes... how big is the boat and the engine?

i Have a 14ft grew with no tower, and it only seats 4 . We can trim it up abit but then the boat gets really bouncy as in the front of it porpses. The biggest wake ive ever had behind it was when i had to people over 250 pds in it and 2 about 170. And still it wasnt that big. Any tips on how to make the wake bigger? When it is trimmed up the wake is really nice but its hard for the driver beacause the bow is so high up. _________________ Ontario Rider

How shallow is your lake? I've had my moomba in less than 2' of water no probs. It seems that if you weight down an I/O its going to sink it further in the water. Our old I/O actually couldnt go lower than about 2' w/out pulling up the outdrive at least a little.
