Props to Pat and the rest of the WB crew for getting the new site up. It looks great. I'm usually not a big fan of scrolldown menu's, but they seem to work pretty good. You guys are awesome.

Like it... I was shocked to see it up... The menus are sweet and make the site nicer to navigate.

Yeah, we're trying the pulldowns out...we can switch back if it doesn't work out. But it saves some space. I can't duplicate your problem base, are you sure you know how to use a computer?

There will also be some other new things we're adding, content to be added back, there's a new product store, etc.

I think what base is saying is that there is a lag time between when your mouse comes off the scrolldown menu and when it dissapears. It takes a second or two before it goes away. I noticed that too. Its kind of annoying when you're just rolling your mouse past and the menu pops up.

the set up is nice, but the text and background are entirely too dark, I'm straining to read the text on the homepage.....if you could just lighten it up a bit.....

Are you serious about having a hard time reading the text? It's black text on white....

Is it just me, but on mine the scroll down menus are too low it covers up other parts of the text. And I'm talking about the actual menu, not when your mouse is over it.

Woo-hoo!!! So nice to have the site back! I like it Pat. Nice job you guys! Having a products section is cool. Need to beef up the store with more stuff though. I'd like to see more stickers. Maybe a larger color selection in the T-backs, too. The Wakeboarder.com T-shirt could use a little more design, like maybe a silhouette of some nice grabs or something. Just my .02.

TSchultz, do you know how to take a screenshot? If you could do that and e-mail it to me I'd love to see what you're seeing.

Yep Christy, we're planning on doing lots of new designs for products. Just need the time to do it! Any suggestions are welcome...

yeah its delayed...its not good. the menu shouldn't open unless u click on it.

and if u were a real man, u would add a daily news section where u talk about whats going on in the world of wakeboarding...adding ur own comments etc....

That section exists base, it's called Wake Thoughts. And it has existed for a long time, however I lost all the past posts in the crash...

Also, there isn't a whole lot going on in wakeboarding right now....

no...not thoughs. daily news...and u could add comments about the news along the way. no wakeboarding site does daily news..updated more then once a day. like little news blocks. they can be completely insignificant things, or whatever. it would only take a few minutes to do it.

sounds like a plan eh?

The problem is that there isn't daily news to report on. Even insignificant things. The closest thing to it is the press releases we get. There are the occasional rumors and news items that aren't in press release format, and I include those in Wake Thoughts.

JRock,
We were able to recover all of the articles dating back to June of last year. Anything after June is gone. We also lost a lot of images and video clips that will be very noticeable if you browse around the site. We are still working hard to get everything back to normal again.

Thanks for all of the complements on the new site. I am kind of glad that we had the opportunity to try out some new things, but we could have done without the server crashing. Thanks for hanging in there with us through all of this. We appreciate the support!
