I've had so much trouble picking out bindings. I'm currently using rentals in the mean time. I've slipped into a few at the store and they all seem to be insanely tight in the toe area. Do you guys get the same feeling when sliding on your bindings? There is this ankle support pad on the front of my binding which makes it harder for me to get my foot in. After some trouble, I finally got my foot in using soap. I'm unsure about buying this binding. I can feel it's an excellent binding (BLINDSIDE STOMP BINDING). But it just felt so tight compared to these rentals I've been using. Will they stretch out? What size do you guys use? Do you guys get the same feeling while in your bindings? Is tight good? HELP

Bindings will stretch out and you'll be complaining that their too loose- so be patient. If you have feet 11+ go with the XL's but make sure to demo. The new Hyperlite Byerlys are sweet. The boa system is cool cuz you can tighten them up with a dial -and their easy to get in to. If your looking for a cheaper alternative, go with liquid foce ultra sucs or exo's- or hyperlite splits- both good values- if the toes are too tight you can loosen the ovelays until they stretch out too.......

I have a size 10 1/2 foot and am still growing. She said the XL's were only longer, and not any wider. Length wise they were fine, but in width they were tight. Thanks for the binding recommendations, but if a binding is really hard to get in and out of do you think it's still worth buying? And how would you rate the blindside stomp? Razz

Try the CWB Torq bindings or the Mobe bindings. These are both good bindings for a good price. I have flat feet so my feet are real wide and they still feel good.

try putting some dish soap lathered on ur feet, it made my feet slip in like a glove after my feet were getting crushed.

Do NOT use soap to get into your bindings, this will kill the rubber in your bindings and turn them into crap faster than anything you could probably use. Using the cheapest shaving cream you can find is your best bet, the foam not the gel. You can buy items called moose juice or duck butter at sporting goods stores, but pretty much its just a waste of money, good old fashioned barbasol shaving cream will do the trick. Smile

try on some different bindings because different models and companies have different widths.

Try the Torq's. Price is good and the support is there. Plus you can loosen the laces around the toes.
