ok well here we go

1.personal perference and you may want to get a flat sakte rather than a concave but thats up to you, but personaly im a cassette guy.
2.agin personal preferance im 150 and ride a 42in but id rather get a 41
3.if you get one with grip tape then yes you may want shoes, any kind will work but if you want wakeskate shoes then check out the gear guide, but if you get a foam top board then no you dont
4.mostly no, but LF came out with a girl pro modle but there is nothing special about it its just smaller, but cassette is better so get a cassette
5.depends on the fall but 80% of the time they dont hurt at all
6. depends on if your gonna just ride around or actually try tricks, if your kinda good at skateboarding then that helps alot but my answer would be yes and no
7.depends: flat board=100 concave board=200-250 shoes=50=70, so it all depends on what you get
8. you can get a helment if you want but its not a nesity(sp) i have on occaison heard storys of people hitting there head on the board but they say it dident hurt that bad
9.yes anybody could try it, but if you have a grip tape top then they might want shoes
10. i do both but i like wakeskating way better, i think its because i come from a sakteboarding background

I say yeah get a helmet unless you want 7 staples in your head. ANd the only time your really gonna get hurt bad is going w2w and the board flies all over.

cassette is a wakeskate only company they make only cassette's. A concave board is gonna look more like a skateboard on the top and is gonna be more expensive, where as a flat board is flat. You get more pop out of a concave board but then agin they are about 100 to 150 more than a flat board so if your gonna do it just for fun then a flat board will work fine but if you want to really get into is then you may want a concave board.

I would get a flat baord to start out with if you can't demo. This way if you don't like it you didn't blow an extra $100 on one. There are a lot of good wakeskates out there. I prefer griptape to foam, so I do waer shoes. Any old pair of shoes works fine, something with a flat sole like an old skate shoe works the best. You can always go to Walmart and get an $8 pair of shoes if shoes are a hang up. Being your size I would go for something in the 40"- 42" size, nothing bigger. Most skates don't have 1/2 naked chicks on them, so having a girl's model isn't that big of a deal. Like Butta said, Lf does make a Melissa wakeskate. It's a concave black bottom with pink on it to make it appear spray painted on.

I have some FWT pads I'll sell you if you want to try out wakeskating really inexpensively.
Just screw them in your binding inserts on your wakeboard and BAM your ready to go.
