I've built a kicker and a slider but the problem is I've never used either one. So I'm wondering how fast you normally approach a slider or kicker? should the boat be traveling exactly paralell to the unit or slightly away from it? Any other advice you can think of for me would be great. thanks

just drive parallel to it goin the speed you usually do maybe a little slower if you feel you want to get used to it. when your on it dont try to pull yourself otherwise your board will slip out. keep the rope in tight and let the boat pull you up it

Drive at your normal speed when hitting both. Drive paralel to the slider but set your kicker up on a your cutting angle that way you can keep your speed over it a not get slack in the line. Going to slow on sliders just makes it harded to stay on them. Just make sure the angle of your up ramps are not to steep.
