this is a product called "Sure Shot". I have one at work that i use for WD-40(i buy it in bulk). i was cuious if would work with binding lube, so I purchased a second one. It worked great with the lube.
The top lid unscrews to fill with whatever you want (lube). the cap has a valve stem just like a tire. once you fill it up and screw the cap back on you can pressurize it up to 200psi. should be enough for a days riding. If the pressure runs out, one of those cheap little 12 volt compressors will fill it back up. |

I got it off of a tool truck. But the pic I posted I just did a search for "sure shot aerosol sprayer" and tons of sites came up that you could get one from. they are fairly spendy though, I think retail for the one I got is around 70 bucks, but they do make smaller and different models. I got the quart cap. brass one. |

do you have a wand for it?
It seems like hefting the can around would negate the benefit gained from not having to squeeze the bottle.
Cool idea though. Are you using brand name lube or a shampoo substitute? |

I just can't seem to get myself to buy binding lube when shaving cream is so darn cheap, and works great. I have actually gone to buy binding lube once, but couldn't make myself actually buy it. And, no, shaving cream does not make my bindings wear out. |

I've never used actual binding lube, shaving cream seems to work pretty good. How much is actual binding lube?

screw all that,
and I hate how the shaving cream floats around you until it desolves.
Gimme my biodegradeable dish detergent and I'm straight.
It'a a good thought though, just not for me. _________________ "I don't understand...what is this NO WAKE zone you speak of?...and what does it mean?" |

I got a 1 gallon jug, it has a hose w/ a pistol grip style squirter on it so it can store in the trunk and the squirter still reaches to the platform. It was about 35 (at buywake I think) and after a season (120 hours on the boat) it is still over 1/2 full. I especially think its funny when people w/ 40K boats complain about spending $20. |

here goes, got a $26,000(ish) value boat for $19,500, built my own tower, built my own light bar, custom installing my fat sacs & a fill system myself, beg borrow & steal (not really) gear where ever I can score a deal.
Working two jobs so that my wife can be a full time mother for our children and somehow I'm blessed enough to have my own boat. I don't know if I'll be able to afford gas for it this summer. I may have to lean a little more heavily on the crew for gas $$.
Unfortunately for me paying way too much for a binding lube does make a difference.
Granted some sugar babies don't have to sweat it & $20 for some lube is no big thing, but for me, that $20 gets the boat to the lake and half a day of riding.
Stoked for spring! -Jed |

I've never been called a sugar baby before I'm not too sure what to think of that Oh well I guess I'll just be happy I've been blessed. I started my own buisness 2 years ago on a shoe string, rented my shop with my partners mortgage payment, and never looked back. |

No matter how rich I am, I will never buy lube. Shaving cream is so cheap, easy to store, generally mess free (you don't need much if you buy the gel form instead of the foam form), and DOESN'T ruin your bindings. And if i've got no shaving cream, then dishwashing liquid (biodegradable of course) is cool too.
The cost of lube.... Just sh*t's me. How can they charge that? _________________ Terminate high thinking |
