i had this problem too with just about every flip i tried. you need to wait till you feel the wake when its almost under your back foot. then just aggressively cut up and away from the boat. it kinda helped me to learn tantrums first cause timing is everything in a tantrum. _________________ Yabba Dabba Dizzle |

the best way to help you with timing on a backroll is to just go with the wake. meaning as you go up the wake, begin to drop your back shoulder and then once your off just allow yourself to keep going with your momentum. thats pretty much how i do them. _________________ ur gonna eat it bad, everone does, but thats how u get better |

Wait for the pop, wait for the pop, wait for the pop.
