hey hers a bad pic of me but its the only 1 i have of the wake is this a nice wake ( its the malibu vlx with the ballast and wedge).... thx for who can help

yeah, it looks fine. try adding anoter 500-1000 lbs or so and you will really be impressed. i have that same boat. i use the mls (900 lbs) plus 500 lbs of rocks in the lockers in back, and then about 500 up front in the bow. great wake.

backsplit, that weird...i guess a SAN's wake is much different than a malibu, and it would feel weird...

as far as weight, id put in another 1000... depending on how much weight you have...just dont go over 2000 total...id say go 18k or 19k...

You guys kill me with the add more weight bit, do you plan on keeping your boats?? 2,000 lbs of weight in a boat with a wedge is an incredible amount of strain on your driveline! Sure your boat may be able to "handle" it right now but your adding serious amounts of wear & tear that WILL catch up with you. I was in the business for a short while & spoke with a few higher up people who feel the same way. I wonder how your engine warranty reps would feel if they knew we were loading their engines down with this kind of weight. A nice wake is a good thing but not at the expense of 30-50k boat.

well then should i put more in and pop up the wedge? right now with the wedje it adds up two 1800-1900 lbs
