ok my friend just bought a wakeskate, and i got hooked i wakeskated for about 3 hours that day and had a blast. the only problem is i got no money. but what i do have is a 99 ICONN junior Ace 132 iwas wondering if i could make a wakeskate out of it. i was thinking about cutting someoff each side of the board then sealing the front and back. then throwing some grip tape on top. so i need to know if this will work. thanks

i think some people have talked about doing this on this forum before. it sounds like you got the right idea. you may wanna look through the old posts on this forum for "cut-off wakeboards"

A wakeskate is going to be alot better than a cut off wakeboard. But yeah you got the right Idea. Cut off ends, resin, grip-tape.
But you can get a new deck for $70
