i cant actually do this trick but you probably should pull the handle in hard to your front hip all the way through the flip to make the rotation go faster. plus you probably want to take a little harder cut then wake to wake.

Not just a little harder cut than W2W, you need to get on the gas. Leave the wake, back foot heavy, bring your lead foot up, like you are doing a nose grab. Okay, now that you are in this position, you need to put your lead ear to your lead shoulder and throw your lead shoulder down at the nose of the board hard. Keep both hands on the handle and hold it in real tight to your waist. Keep the handle locked in this position throughout the entire rotation. As always, be sure to wait for the pop before you start the rotation. I find it helpful to think to yourself, "jump up, not out" on this trick to get the rotation to happen higher and quicker. You don't really want to through yourself out and over, but rather up and over. I conciously think about this when doing this trick and it helps me quite a bit. Good luck and be ready for some nice spills, they have a tendency to hurt a little bit, but nothing you can't handle.

Get that bad boy dialed in, it's a sick trick especially when you start grabbing it and taking it to revert.

when you leave the wake back foot heavy, does that help you to get higher on inverts?

Blndside088-
I just learned it this year, about a week to have it pretty solid. I'd say between 15-20 tries to really be comfortable with it and take it really big. I think I landed it for the first time on like the 7th or 8th try. Good luck.

Ben746- I wouldn't use that as a rule of thumb. On this particular trick, it does help me to take it higher, but not on many others, especially trip flips like the Tantrum or Scarecrow. Don't get in the habit of leaving back foot heavy, it will pop you out of control on most tricks, especially spins.

This is one of the most fun tricks in the sport in my opinion.
Let's see you get it...

a couple of addtional tip that may help you.

1.Use a harder cut than a back roll.. back rolls on a 1-10 scale would need a 5-6. FF nned a 7-8, 8-10 for raley tricks.

2. Make sure to edge all the way through the wake on these.
3. As you are edging up the ramp of the wake, rock your weight onto your back foot and soften your front leg-(make sure the board is still on edge through the process.)
4. When you use the rocking motion to load the front flip off the wake, your arms will become more extended. Once off the wake.... wait......(trust me) then simultaneously pull the handle and initiate the roations as in step 3 at the same time. You will go higher and farther.

After you get your timing down you literally can pump the wake with this rocking motion and take the front higher and higher....it will become one of your most consistent and impressive tricks.
