I just bought a concave 43 cassette wakeskate for 175 new

I was wondering what are the pros/cons of riding it finless. Also with it track well enough without the fins? And will i be able to do surface tricks easily with the fins.

They look like maybe 1.3's

Try both and see what you like. I have been riding my grubb finless and it rips. I keep flip flopping between the cassette and grubb but I think the grubb finless is where it is at because the rails give a little bite.. I like the 3d with fins and I can still do surface 3's without any fin drag. The fins give you some stability when you unwind from the handle pass.

I like everything finless. Skates are more fun IMO when they are loose and have a lot of play in them. I prefer a finless cassette, but I'm more into lip tricks and skate style than W2W.

i ride my catalyst finless and it kicks ass. having fins will let you track a lot better and you will be able to carve into the wake much faster for wake to wake tricks. but finless, you can slide the board around with little to no effort. It all personal prefrence.
