| the advice I've been given is to edge progressively through the wake (you don't have to cut hard), straighten at the top, and then throw your right ear towards your right shoulder but keep your eyes looking forward(like the position when you're holding a phone between your shoulder and your head with no hands). Keep the rope close to your hips. Bending at the knees slightly will make you rotate a little quicker, and may make it easier than fully "laying out" on a backroll. Disclaimer - I have not landed my backroll yet, this was a friend's advice to me. |

| tparider, it's a different shoulder that you look over depending on whether you ride reg or goofy. If you ride left forward then look over your left shoulder, if you ride right forward look over your right shoulder. yep. |

actually, i tried that whole lookin over your shoulder thing, and it didnt work real well. I started landing them when i went to the wake with a progressive edge and then just dropped my back shoulder, and looked for the water. _________________ ur gonna eat it bad, everone does, but thats how u get better |
