|

| One of my buddies told me that when learning inverts, the first few times to drop the rope before you hit the wake. I was landing tantrums perfectly everytime, however when i now put load on the rope and cut in im not getting close? Anyone got some tips? |

well i mean i guess it could be good to drop the handle a couple of times to get the feel of the rotation, but its totally diff with the handle so that doenst do to much good. on tantrums just mainly make sure you get a good pop before throwing it, but its not AS important as on a backroll. but yeah make sure u get the pop, u kno the rotation, then u can pull the handle to your hip and it will pull your feet under you ( you dont have to, but it can help) _________________ ur gonna eat it bad, everone does, but thats how u get better |

Never let go of the rope, under any circumstances. How can you land it without a rope? _________________ The consciousness of self is the greatest hindrance to the proper execution of all physical action.

| Yeah unless you do it just on the first one or maybe two attempts just to feel the rotation, otherwise I would call that a 'bad habit' that will stunt your ability to land them. Don't let go of the handle until you are eating sh#*. |

In line with what your buddy told you, maybe it would be a good idea to wear a dress and scream in a real high pitch when trying anything new too. |

I started learning tantrums without the rope, and then I did one with the rope and it was exactly the same. Letting go of the rope just gave me the confidence to go upside down. _________________ Do it to it Lars |

yeah but if you try letting go on tricks like rolls where you ride through the wake and have to load the rope, and the rope is what pulls you around then your screwed. _________________ ur gonna eat it bad, everone does, but thats how u get better |

| yeah true that, if you want to be a puss learning rolls you can try it with a wakeskate just to feel the release, the rotation wont be nearly as fluent though. |
