I have a sony mini dv and want to know what program I should get to edit my videos on my PC as well as burn them onto CD's.
I want to make videos to put on wakepics.com - and some of those are niceeeee.
I need any and all info - thanks in advance.
you should be able to use pretty much any video editing program available to do this. what you do is capture the video onto your computer using the editing program then, edit the video, then output it as a windows media file if you plan on puttin it on wakepics. dont be expecting to make any masterpieces with the first few videos that you make. it takes time for you to get used to what each program can do. i use adobe premier 6.0, you can try it if you want to but if you have never edited a video before it may be a bit intimidated. there are lots of programs out there, i would find one that you feel comfortable with.
damnnnnnnnnnn @ cost of premiere!!!
any other options out there people???
what do you use? how much is it?
ease of use?
c'mon - i know you all do your videos up nice - hook a bro up
thanks for ur help

I use pinnacle but only because I could bootleg
it from a friend. Do a search for Videodub. Its
a shareware program that has all the features you'll need.
You're also gonna need a way to capture the video
from camcorder to computer. Lots of firewire cards
come with editing software. Look for one that comes
with a name brand software like Pinnacle of Ulead
You should be able to find a good combo for around $100
