| Ok I just started riding last week and I loved it so I bought this Hyperlite Belmont board and got a really good deal on it too. But I can't do hardly any tricks I can jump just from one side of the wake but always land in between the other side of the wake and in the middle so can u please help me with the wake to wake jump. Also I can do a 180 but not wake to wake so can someone teach me the easiest way to do the rope pass??? Thanks |

| first, put the 360 out of your head for a while. work on getting your wake to wake jump down with a progressive edge both heelside and toeside. You can find the progressive edge under trick tips. keep doing those one wake 180s though and ride switch. Eventually you'll be able to take them bigger. |

aight well first of all with the wake to wake, you can try shortening your rope to get the feel till you start to go bigger, but as for technique, the biggest thing is dont jump of the wake, cut in with a proggressive edge( slowly building up) and crouch down a little. when you get to the TOP of the wake just stand tall , by basically straghtening your legs, and it will kinda shoot you up, it takes a while to get it, but you will. dont just cut really hard because then you can get into a habbit of not popping, and just shooting across the wake and that will bite u in the but on alot of tricks, especially the hs wake to wake 180. and as for that trick there is no handle pass, just pop up , and in mid air, pull the handle across your body to your back hip and lean forward toward the shore. _________________ ur gonna eat it bad, everone does, but thats how u get better |
