Dont let off with either hand. Pull both hands to your rear hip at the very top and the trick will throw itself. Shift your weight to your trailing foot before you land so you wont get bounced out.

ok, by "at the very top", do you mean the top of the wake, or the peak of your jump, or the end of the rotation? clarify.
thanks

Go ahead an initiate the pull at the peak of your rotation, it will help you make sure you keep the handle in tight. You can get away with pulling around on the way down if you feel you have enough time and good air control.

ya throw your head back like a regular ts backroll but when you get past the vertical part then just let go w/ you front hand and it should pull you around.

I said 'hold on w/ both hands' b/c lots of times letting go w/ one hand will freeze your rotation. You can cheat using both hands, use that to your advantage especially when learning them. Drop your hands and throw the revert later once you get the timing down. Just my thoughts.

would you go for the grab right off the wake, or during the rotation?

right off the wake

it looks a lot better, plus the cross pull will initiate the 180 for you... Just be patient and ride all the way up the wake

k, so pop off, grab method, throw head back, pull handle to back hip at peak of rotation, spot landing, and ride away smooth shouting to the boys in the boat.

is that the right sequence of events?
