is an air raley an easy trick to learn? do you need lots of air? can i expect some nasty wrecks learning it? looks so phat, cant help but want to try it.

well I know a chick who's first trick was a raley. she did have a few bad faceplants learning it though.

If commit to the Raley 100%, it is a super easy trick.

If you do not commit, you will crash.

If you can hold a hard cut from about 30 feet outside the wake, then you are ready to try Raleys. If you have problems with coming off edge, then don't try to Raley

The most common injury I see with this trick is kids not ready to try it, they huck and luck into the air and face plant on the water and the board scorpions them in the back of the head requiring some shaved hair and mad stitches...the blod alone usually makes people pass out.

If you are ready for the trick you will know it, it's not hard if you have the right skillz to try it.

raley is no fun but the shizzy u can throw off of it is sick, one of the best looking moves is a hoochi glide and a 911 just looks naughty......i don't like plain raleys but you need them to throw some really high end sick looking tricks.......and anyone who has the balls to even attemp a s-bend goes down in my book as noteworthy, you can't teach guts

raleys arent to hard i have had a bunch of pre bad crashes, but mostly just cause i cant quite get it down sometimes, i think its cause i leave early, and dont bend my elbows so it doesnt snap me back down, but i would say give it a shot, and make sure u cut hard, and right as u leave the wake look into the boat, then it SHOULD snap back down if u do it right, but that sometmes takes a while. i learned it off a wakeskate, its fun that way to, u should try it, just cut in heard and to the raley, the wakeskate goes flying, then u just pull it back down and cup urself and make sure ur legs arent spread Smile

I saw a kid fracture his skull and slit his forehead open (it was hanging down over his eyes) on a simple HS wake jump.
