I've heard some pretty mixed reviews about these. either their the "best binding of '03" or "they killed my feet after 5 minutes." And as for the Torq, I haven't heard much of anything. I really need to grab a new pair soon, i'm headed on a boarding trip August 1-5, and without wakeboarding.....9th circle of hell here i come. So ANY help is welcome!

I have tried both and thought the Ions were more comfortable and were really locked done and weren't that stiff like the systems. I didn't like the torqs, they weren't as comfortable and just didn't feel right.

The Torq's are designed to be an adjustable binding. Not supposed to be super supportive. If you have a few different peeps riding your board, go with the Torq...Just you, the Ion's.

I have Torq. Thought they were pretty decent binding until I blew one out when (almost) landing a simple W2W. CWB did replace both skins (per their warranty policy). However, I will only use the bindings as backups to a set of 2002 Scarecrows. I have no confidence in the design of the Torq. Too much threading in high stress areas.

the 2002 scarecrows were amazing, I have the PRS1s and have no complaints. I prefer them over the Parks. but thats only me. Rolling Eyes
