|
|
Hello Everyone:
For those who don't know me or what I've been up to, my name is Bob Knapp and I'm producing a wakeboard video entitled "Scrubs of the South". I've been a professional video editor and a wakeboarder for many years, so here's my contribution to this great sport. Last summer I traveled the Southern United States filming wakeboarders for this movie.
I plan on delivering a quality video that is being created for the only reason any wakeboard video should be produced. To make people want to go ride. It will be Big, Long, and all Wakeboarding.
CWB is backing me on this project and it will feature a lot of their riders as well. The video should be completed by the end of May and will be sold in board shops across the Nation. Check out my web site at: www.swispro.com for details and updates.
Thank you for listening and check out my promotional video featuring Andrew Adkison on Wakepics.com!

The song was Stay With Me by CellDweller. I would like to know if you will have any Panama City footage. I didn't see any, but maybe I was mistaken.

wow thats incredible. What is that trick 39 or 40 seconds in? im sure its not the hardest trick but thats definitely the coolest trick ive ever seen. My second fave was whatever flip spin thing he did holding the handle over his head. I will definitely buy that when it comes out.
great video,

Knocking Andrew's style isn't cool. I've been on the boat while he has learned several tricks. The amount of time he has been wakeboarding and how quickly he has progressed to where he is now is amazing. My 2 cents...

Yea for real though, don't trash Andrew like that, until you've met him, don't talk that way, cause he's super cool and a bad ass rider.

Do you guys read what I said at all? I simply asked if there were any stylish riders in the video. I wasn't saying he can't ride, he has some hard tricks. I have met him, he is pretty cool to anyone, and has a different attitude than anyone I've met towards things. I didn't say he wasn't a cool guy in person, read what I say guys. Learning several tricks doesn't give you style. I'm not ripping on his riding, he is just the kind of rider that rides for contests. He' learns a trick to make it look smooth, then stops after that, he doesn't progress it to where he can grab and poke each trick. Trick completion. Next time read what I say before jumping on something that you want to think I say. |

I'm not trying to get into a pissing contest with you Derrick. I know what you meant by your comment. I'm just stating that you have to give him props for what he can do. How many people do you know that can do off axis 900's off the wake? I seriously doubt that many pro riders out there developed mad style within the first 2 years of riding...not to mention having the bag of tricks that Andrew has. I will agree that there was not a lot of grabbing, etc going on. But having ridden with Andrew for a while, and seeing where he is and what he has accomplished, I must say that I am envious.

I wouldn't mind being where he is either. But, if you knew what I meant, then why bring in irrelevant topics, when I asked such a simple question? That's all. I wasn't not giving him props. It takes a lot of practice and body precision to do a 9 off the wake. As far as mad style within the first few years of wakeboarding? I know non pros that have, but as far as pros, most of the real real style riders have died out. Collin is one of the only left in my mind, and he's starting to do more stuff on the business side.

Andrew really really progresses fast. And Yes actually he does work on his tricks over and over and over just to make them that much better and add just a little something more to them. Hes always pushing him self and other riders including myself. Hes the nicest guy Ive ever met and mabye I did missunderstand your post but if your saying he doesnt have style ur crazy. _________________ Screw the wakeboard... ride the wakeboarder! |

First off, Lmoney, read what I actually say before you try and respond to me. What you said went along with nothing I said. And chubby, I just get frustrated at people sometimes really easily.
