Las Vegas Riding spots?

anyone know where any good spots are in the vegas area? i've gone to lake mead but its choppy as hell, is there any coves or anything on the lake that is a good place to ride?

i dont go to the vegas side very much but up by echo bay and overton there are a couple coves. This winter its been glass in the channel every time we went so no need to look. the low water level has ruined some of the coves though.
