Well, there are a few things that could be causing your problem. First, what method of cut are you taking to do the rotation? A long, progressive cut through the wake makes the rotation a bit harder, so you have to throw your head down more. A tantrum style cut will fling your feet over your head and make the rotation easy, but possibly overrotate.
Are you balling up when you rotate? If you are, then your problem is you are opening up too early and stopping your rotation. Think about grabbing the board and landing on your head. A frontroll is very tricky, you have to try to overrotate to get the landing. Think about doing 1.5 rotations and diving back into the water. Don't kick your legs out when you spot the water.
Hope that helps, feel free to email me tiffany@glassandpowder.com

stay tucked longer, you want to really try and overrotate it, because you'll be edging away on your toes. _________________ The consciousness of self is the greatest hindrance to the proper execution of all physical action.

make sure that you wait for the pop off the wake before you start to rotate the trick, and then over-rotate it all kinds, and then you will land on your feet- assuming you can jump high enough. _________________ I am a 18 year old, who dreams about wakeboarding all day....this seems like a cool website to get some information off of. |
