pregnant....:(

okay...i have a little problem. Yesterday I found out that I was pregnant. I dont know what to do...how do i tell my parents...i am so confused. I just need help that's all....i figured i could rely on u guys to help me. Anything would be great. Thanks

Im 21, and me and my sister live in our own apartment, a couple of blocks from my parent.

well, bluntly...there isn't much to do other than just go to them and tell them whats up....cause if they care about you at all they are gonna do whatever they can to help you out...probably after they quit freaking out...but you've got some serious decisions to make now, and it would be stupid to try to do it all without your parents...sorry if this post sounded rude, or uncaring...but its kind of the reality of the situation...

I agree. They will find out sometime, the sooner the better. Loving parents will give you support and that's an important thing to have during a pregnancy. You'll be going through some pretty emotional times, and not very many people can comfort you like your mother.

And of course come to us for any support you need. Wink

If you dont care about the "partner" then take your parents out to a restaurant and tell them. Being around other people could help them act better about the situation. IF you do care about him take him along.

On the other hand, this may be one of those things you would rather discuss at home. I dont know your parents but in situaitons like this, i have found that prayer works.

As far as telling your parents, guess it depends on their views and what you plan to do... If you're gonna have it, gotta tell 'em, just be up front and honest about it, they'll probably be upset first but once the shock goes away they will be supportive... either way good luck... just keep in mind your family is your family no matter what and they're always there for ya

Thanks so much for your guy's support. I told my boyfriend, and he is there ,a nd will suppoort me and the babay 100%. Tonight we are going over to my parents house, togther, to tell them. DNichole: what ended up happening for u?? Did u keeps the baby??
That is what I am planning to do (keep the baby). Luckily I have enough money to support the both of us. Thanks alot guys

What if you don't tell anyone and have the baby and keep is a big secret. And then when he/she is like 10 years old tell your parents and be like oh didn't I tell you?

No they went really that mad. My dad made us sit down and come up with our whole life plan prety much. We arent going to get married right away...we dont want it to be forced, just because of the baby. My bf, is actually pretty excited! He is nervous though...neither of us know much about babies, but I guess that is where our parents come in. I am already 3 and a half months pregnant....very nervous!! Everyone ( all of my friends, and family) have been such amazing support though. Lol, we are both very excited for choosing names ( anyone got any ideas??) and making a nursery! We will be moving in together in a couple of weeks. Only downside:doctor says no wakeboarding until after the baby comes. NOOOOOOOOOO Crying or Very sad
