I'm having problems with doing toeside stuff...i tried jumping the wake ts and i did the worst faceplant....sucked the board under and off me and i kept going up....and after what felt like five min i slammed into the water...can anyone help?

you need to make an effort into flattening out before you hit the wake. don't carve through it, this will set you off balance and demolish your air. keep the handle close to you lead hip; don't let the boat pull you over.

TripRyder, how would you suggest I do a progressive edge from the TS if I'm not supposed to be riding up the entire wake?

FLATTENING out like you mention the worst thing you can do on the TS edge.
Loading the tail of the board too much is probably the second worst thing you can do on the TS edge.

The only thing you said that made sense is,
" keep the handle close to your lead hip; don't let the boat pull you over."

Yeah on a toeside edge you should keep the handle close to your lead-hip, and try and stand tall through the whole and and keep on your edge. By flattening out or having the handle way out away from your boady you will go off-axis and fall.
