All, new to the forum. Been boarding on a cable for 12 months. Can nail blind 180s, 360s and sliders.
Over the last few months I have been trying Raleys.
I started learning on my skate, by cutting in progressivley and pinging into the air. I can get the first two stages and even land on my feet in the water off of the skate. I am getting about 6ft on the best attempts.
As soon as I try with my board on I am either munchin on my belly if I do not get enough height, and when I do get enough height I am catching my toe edge on the way down on the landing. It F****king hurts face planting at full speed, I feel as though with a little more time in the air I could land it.
The trick is 90% mental and 10% physical, but once you bruise your ribs you are always a little dubius.........also think I may have a hernia.....pulled stomach muscles 6 weeks ago and they still KILL!
Any tips will help form all the cable skiiers.
Also, anybody land a tantrum on the cable? Not off a slider / kicker though! _________________ Slider glider....... |
